I see red too. You know, when I read Flannery O'Connor and later A Handmaid's Tale (MA wrote it when she lived in the US South) - I thought both were just a bit of exaggeration. I'm already washing a bizillion fleeces (OK, a slight exaggeration), what harm could another one do?
