Or maybe it’s a Bangles song. “Hazy Shade of Winter” seems appropriate now that Samhain has passed.
Samhain this year was super low key. Just me, a candle, a few moments of contemplation. I started to do a tarot reading and got distracted by Tom Clancy’s Clear and Present Danger (Jack Ryan)
Today at my desk I resolved to actually do some knitting and started a pair of Susie’s Reading Mitts (rav link) because I have a couple of skeins of Frog Tree Merino that’s just staring at me. I have a feeling these are going to pill like a bitch, but they’ll keep me warm in my meat locker of an office.
Life remains strange. I’m still processing a ton of stuff emotionally (emo-ly?) and am feeling fairly subdued, yet more vibrant at the same time. Life is all about juxtapositions right now, and I find myself very pensive.
